Celestite Geode
Celestite or Celestine is a sulfate mineral known for the striking pale blue coloration often seen in the crystals it forms. Found worldwide, Celestite crystals are sometime found in geodes, including the famous crystal cave in Ohio which claims to be the world’s largest geode. This beautiful geode specimen originates from Madagascar, where some of the finest blue Celestite is mined. It is roughly teardrop shaped and has numerous large deep blue crystals extending far back into the geode.
